Official Sponsor of the Shenanigan's St. Patrick's Day Parade
It is a proven fact that young people who routinely engage in the types of activities that encourage service to others, are less likely to be involved in risky behaviors. Today’s youth has the energy, imagination and tools to reach out and help their peers, families and their own neighborhoods – and it doesn’t necessarily require money to do so. It requires a genuine desire to put others’ needs ahead of their own. Quota International,
MS Gulf Coast wants to foster and encourage
that sense of caring.
If you know a school age child (1st thru 12th Grade) in Harrison, Jackson or Hancock County, who has performed an unselfish act of service between Sept 1, 2007 and today, please nominate them for this recognition. All nominations will be reviewed by our YES Board of Educators, Counselors and Service Volunteers.
Each month, an outstanding youth will be recognized at their school, club or church, with a $100 Savings Bond and a "YES" medal of achievement.
At the end of the school year, all children who receive this award, will be invited to a special function in their honor, and one of those recipients will be named YES honoree of the year, and receive a $1,000.00 Savings Bond.
Congratulations to our February Y.E.S. Recipient

Oink! Oink!
Our annual fundraiser is quite unique, and a lot of fun!
Each year, Quotarians are given a white piggy bank, which they "dress up" and fill with money they raise, using their own time and talents.
During our Palooza, we gather our gussied-up pigs, parade them for coveted "blue ribbons", and donate the money inside!
We also enjoy a delicious buffet dinner, live entertainment,
a silent auction and a live auction of piggy banks painted by local artists! There is also a raffle for a bbq grand prize package!
This year's theme is "Piggy Sue's Diner" - a 50's party!
If you are a non-profit agency, you can join in the fun, while raising money for your group as well! Contact our Chairpersons, and ask how!
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this very special project in 2009! We raised over $500 for the Center, and filled a huge truck full of baby items!
Special thanks to COAST RADIO GROUP!
