ABOUT QUOTA INTERNATIONAL

Quota International of the Mississippi Gulf Coast is a business executives and professionals service organization whose unified international philanthropic efforts are devoted to the speech and hearing impaired. The organization has been active on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1977.

Here on the Coast, Quotarians work closely with the de l'Epee Deaf Center, paying for operations, speech therapy, hearing aids, etc. In addition to general charitable work benefiting those in need in our community, specificall disadvantaged women and children. Quota also supports the International Club to Club Program which allows personal participation with Quotarians in third world countries around the world as they strive to combat the significant and overwhelming projects like clean water, hunger, poverty, etc in their world.

Locally, the organization is noted not only for its charitable work, but also for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade, "Shenanigan's" in Gulfport. This public service project of the Club is devoted to providing a wholesome family activity for the community.

Quota members come from all walks of life and include professionals, business owners, managers and directors, judges and many others.

Quota International, headquartered in Washington, D.C. was founded in 1919 in Buffalo, N.Y. by Wanda Frey Joiner, a Russian immigrant and successful businesswoman. The organization is currently found in 14 countries around the world including Singapore, Australia, The Netherlands, Phillippines, Fiji and others.
